Our corporate social responsibility management structure

As part of our unified corporate social responsibility programme, we have appointed a ‘champion’ in each business with responsibility for defining and delivering local corporate social responsibility objectives in line with the Group’s overall targets.

Each champion heads an ‘action group’ for his or her individual business, made up of a range of individuals across that business with the breadth of expertise to be able to implement and oversee the work necessary to meet their set objectives.

All champions across Alliance Boots are supported by a ‘buddy’ from the UK corporate social responsibility management team, who provides guidance and additional expertise on working within the Group’s corporate social responsibility framework.
