Our Group has a strong portfolio of product brands. Both our Divisions are increasingly seeking to enhance their customer offering through accelerating the development of differentiated products.

Boots own brand
The Boots own brand range of products offers our customers authenticity, credibility and value for money. It includes skincare, medicines, healthcare products and many more.

No7
No7 was launched in 1935 and is now the UK's leading cosmetics and skincare brand. The latest range includes skincare, anti-ageing products and make-up.

In January 2008 we successfully launched a No7 Protect & Perfect total skincare regime which includes specially formulated day, night and eye creams. Shortly thereafter we launched No7 For Men, a comprehensive range of men's skincare products.

Soltan
Soltan is the UK's biggest selling suncare range. Since it was launched nearly 70 years ago, the range has been consistently updated as suncare technology has advanced. In 1998, all Soltan products specified a Sun Protection Factor and in 2004 Soltan was relaunched as a range of 5-Star UVA protection suncream.

With built-in advanced triple protection and an array of application methods, including lotions, sprays and mists, Soltan offers a wide range of suncare products, from sun protection factor SPF8 to 50+.

Botanics
Botanics was first launched in the UK in 1995. It is a holistic range of skin, hair, bath and body products that brings together plant extracts with scientifically proven formulations. Botanics offers a combination of high performance products that brings together the pure power of plants and modern science and technology.

Almus
Almus is our award-winning brand of generic medicines. First launched in the UK in 2003, it is now available in four countries. The range is a leader in its field with innovative, user-focused design and patient-friendly packaging, which includes full-colour illustrations of the medication on the packs to aid dispensing and self-medication in the home. 

The continued growth of Almus provides marketing and sourcing benefits aimed at offsetting the impact of patent expiries.  It was launched in France and Italy in 2006, and actively marketed in Germany in early 2008. In September 2007, Almus announced a joint sourcing and marketing agreement with Cardinal Health, which will serve as a platform for the introduction of the brand into the US market. In March 2008 we also introduced an Almus range of OTC medicines for sale to third party customers in the UK.
