Strategic approach

We monitor our activities and progress through a corporate social responsibility scorecard, which is segmented into four areas: community; environment; marketplace; and workplace.  In each of these areas our businesses have key objectives and priorities which are embedded into the daily activities of our people.

This approach provides us with a consistent framework and takes into account the different social, environmental and economic priorities in the countries in which Alliance Boots has businesses. It is supported by a leader in each business who is locally responsible for delivering against agreed targets.
